Supporting Christ Clinic in Prayer

In addition to our material needs, you can help meet our spiritual needs by praying for the patients, staff, volunteers, and Clinic as a whole. Please send us an e-mail if you have a specific prayer request or if you would like to be a part of our prayer community.

Volunteer Medical Provider

The Volunteer Medical Provider is essential to Christ Clinic’s continual ability to offer affordable and quality healthcare to uninsured and underinsured patients.  Medical doctors and nurse practitioners are continually needed to provide primary care in partnership with Christ Clinic staff and other volunteers.   The Volunteer Medical Provider is responsible to the Clinical Director while volunteering at Christ Clinic.  Minimum commitment is one year, serving 1 or more 3-4 hour shifts per month, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Nurse Volunteer

The Nurse Volunteer plays a critical role in the functioning of the clinic. He or she can set the tone for a positive visit with the practitioner. The overall responsibility of the Nurse Volunteer is to assist practitioners in efficient, timely, courteous assessment and treatment of patients by performing procedures and duties within the scope of their practice. The Nurse Volunteer is responsible to the Staff Nurse while working a shift. Minimum commitment is one year, serving 1 or more 3-4 hour shifts per month, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Front Desk Volunteer

The Front Desk Volunteer also plays an important role in the functioning of the clinic. He or she is usually the first contact a patient has with the clinic, either by phone or in person. The overall task of the Front Desk Volunteer is to facilitate efficient and timely scheduling and processing of patient appointments, payments and records. The Front Desk Volunteer is responsible to the Office Manager while working a shift. Minimum commitment is one year, serving 1 or more 4 hour shifts per month, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Transcription Volunteer

The Transcription Volunteer plays an important role in our clinic by accurately inputting data into our electronic medical record using a computer word processor.  The Transcription Volunteer is responsible to the Office Manager while working a shift.
